Who we are.
Amethyst Recovery Solutions is a, 501c3 nonprofit, Recovery Community Organization, serving the Twin Cities in Minnesota, that was started by four best friends who wanted to create an ecosystem of people in recovery that prioritizes three simple things: community involvement, human connection, and fun in recovery. Our events are open to all members of the community.

Recovery Fitness Class
Explore the transformative benefits of fitness in recovery through our collaborative class with True Earth Fitness and Pro Inspire Training. Led by experienced trainers Sawyer Mally and Ben Carlson, these sessions focus on full-body strength and conditioning. Join us on Mondays and Fridays at 1 PM at Los Campeones Gym in Saint Paul for a nominal fee of $5. Whether you're a seasoned fitness enthusiast or new to exercise, our class is inclusive and designed to support your journey to wellness.

Annual Recovery "Learn to Curl" Event
Each year, we host our annual recovery "Learn to Curl" event, open to all. Led by experienced instructors, it's a fun and inclusive activity for everyone, from beginners to Olympic-level curlers. Beyond learning a new skill, it's a chance to connect with others in recovery and the supportive community that accompanies their journey.

Overdose Prevention Volunteering
Collaborating closely with the Steve Rummler Hope Network, we regularly organize overdose prevention events. From assembling naloxone kits to conducting training sessions and raising awareness, there are opportunities for everyone to contribute to saving lives. In today's climate, the importance of embracing naloxone use and promoting awareness about overdose and safe drug practices cannot be overstated.

Recovery Softball
Throughout the summer season, we have multiple softball teams in Minnesota's Recovery Softball League. These teams are inclusive and welcome not only Amethyst employees and clients but also anyone who wants to play softball within a safe and supportive setting. Beyond the fun of the sport itself, participating offers an excellent chance to form new friendships and establish connections with valuable resources within the recovery community.

We're deeply committed to offering recovery resources and advocating for the recovery cause within our community.
